Rotary Club of the Blue Ridge – New Generations
Rotary Club of Blue Ridge – New Generations is a local chapter of young professionals from the Roanoke Valley. The New Generations Club seeks to create positive and lasting change in the community while building successful professional networks both within Rotary and the community at large.
Rotary Club of Blue Ridge – New Generations has provided financial support and countless volunteer hours over the past two years for the iCan Shine Bike Camp, which provides the opportunities for children with disabilities to learn to ride a bike while engaging in positive social experiences with peers and adults. The New Generations Club is also proud of their support of Elvis, an emotional support and therapy dog at Children’s Trust. The Club is currently partnering with Rotary of Downtown Roanoke on the Pack-A-Snack program, providing food bags to 120 students at Fallon Park Elementary School on a weekly basis during the 2015-2016 school-year. The Rotary Club of Blue Ridge – New Generations is also proud of their Greenway Cleanup efforts, countless volunteer hours supporting local non-profits, and continued efforts to promote volunteerism.
